Chang Fu Gong Hotel - Introduction
The 5-star New Otani Chang Fu Gong Hotel was jointly planned by the Beijing government and Hiroshi Inayama, honorary president of Japan's Nippon Steel Co., Ltd, in order to promote friendship between China and Japan and
to stimulate economic and cultural exchanges. The hotel offers traditional Japanese-style services, along with internet access and an indoor swimming pool.
The hotel is managed by the New Otani Group. As for the name of the hotel, chang is the first character for the Great Wall, one of the most famous historic spots in China, and fu is the first character for Mt. Fuji, the most famous mountain in Japan. The name symbolizes the belief that friendship between China and Japan should last as long as the Great Wall and Mt. Fuji.
