The Emperor - Introduction
The Emperor (Huangjia Yizhan Jiudian) offers guests easy access to the Forbidden City, Tian'anmen Square, Jingshan Park and the popular Wangfujing pedestrian street.
Fronted by a classical Chinese brick facade, the Emperor features a cutting-edge interior conceived by internationally renowned designers Graft Labs.
A range of guestrooms feature a modern aesthetic accented by traditional touches. Wall-mounted flat-screen TVs, wireless internet access and butler services are standard.
At the Shi restaurant, guests can enjoy fusion cuisine creatively prepared by eminent chef John Hao, known for putting a modern spin on local dishes. A choice selection of vintage Chinese rice wines are a featured menu item (and design element thanks to an ingenious storage setup). The Emperor's bar, Yin, commands breathtaking views and serves signature cocktails and crêpes, all prepared with a Chinese touch. Yin is also home to the Emperor's daily "Raising of the Lanterns" ceremony at sunset, marking the transformation of the roof terrace into a club and lounge under the stars.
Other hotel facilities include a rooftop meeting room seating up to 20 people, additional meeting spaces and the Jing Boutique.
